Description: This substance is extremely expensive and primarily used in the Chinese patent called Niu Huang Jie Du Pian. The combination of niu huang with rhinoceros or water buffalo horn can be a lifesaver in the treatment of Legionnaire's disease, meningitis, and encephalitis.

 

 

Parts Used: Gallstone or the bile of an ox, water buffalo, or pig. It is dried and made into a powder for pills.

Remedies For: Anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, antibacterial.
