Prostrate perennial herb, often rolled up into a mission-like, its slender stems, tuberous roots, dense generation. Originating in India, now widely distributed in the world's tropical and subtropical areas, mainly in the Yangtze River in China south of the provinces. Centella asiatica Xi was born in moist riparian, marsh, grassland. Hongjing reads: This grass with cold name, their sexual Dahan, hence the name Centella asiatica.
