Detailed Product Description
Snakegourd Peel is the dried pericarp of ripe fruit of Trichosanthes kirilowii Maxim. or Trichosanthes rosthornii Harms (Fam.Cucurbitaceae).
Action: To remove heat and resolve phlegm, and to smooth the flow of qi in the chest.
Indications: Cough with yellowish sticky expectoration, oppressed feeling in the chest and costal pain.
Precaution: Incompatible with Radix Aconiti and allied drugs.
