Motherwort Herb is the dried aerial part of Leonurus heterophyllus Sweet (Fam. Labiatae).
Action: To regulate menstruation by activating blood circulation, and to induce diuresis.
Indications: Menstrual disorders, dysmenorrhea, amenorrhea, incessant drippling of lochia; edema and oliguria such as edema in acute nephritis.
